Mel is fluent in English and also speaks Turkish. She works with individuals across the lifespan, from childhood through to late adulthood.
Mel is passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, heightened stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, and parenting challenges.
Mel draws on a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centred Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Behavioural Interventions, and Mindfulness. Her warm, collaborative style aims to ensure clients feel supported in building resilience and achieving their therapeutic goals.
